Who are we?

TonkaIn is a pioneer in African research and development

In Summary

Electronics and Software Engineering

Since its creation, TonkaIn has been the specialist and one of the champions in the development of embedded systems, software engineering and artificial intelligence in Africa.

TonkaIn provides a collaborative workspace for:

Vision of TonkaIn

Our vision is to become a leading R&D institution in the fields of electronics, comp apps, and AI.

Through our efforts, we plan to aid in the elevation of both Cameroon and Africa to global players in these industries.

We seek to develop technologically ambitious solutions through our expertise, experience and collaboration with universities and our American, Chinese and German partners, sustainable, technologically ambitious solutions that help us to assert ourselves on a local and international level.

TonkaIn's Mission

Empower African engineers to innovate and be the force behind the new technologies and applications of tomorrow.

Explore unknown paths that can open new horizons for our regions, our country and Africa.

Move Africa from a supplier of raw materials to a continent that transforms them into high quality products for the global market.

Expertise

Within the framework of our research, current projects are particularly concerned with new methods of data analysis (Big Data) extracted from embedded computer systems.

TonkaIn develops algorithms that automatically evaluate this data and identify information useful for diagnosis using big data analysis and artificial intelligence.

A scalable, intuitive operating concept and visualization of the analysis results are designed to optimally support user capabilities and prevent human errors.

Among other things, TonkaIn is specialized in the following areas:

- Biomedical research

- Artificial Intelligence

- Development of computer solutions

- Design and development of electronic systems in the biomedical field, embedded systems, etc...

Our working students

Don't give us a 3D printer, but teach us how to develop it ourselves (e.g.: PCB, Firmware, Hardware, and Software).

Come, let’s make Africa a great place for engineering and scientific research!
